Great initial baseball experience. For girls and boys 4-6 years old. Players hit a softer baseball off a tee. Games are 3 innings and every player bats every inning. Games take about 1 hour and take place on Saturday mornings. Teams practice once per week for 1 hour in addition to the Saturday game.

For girls and boys 5-7 years old. Played on a field with 60 foot base paths. Our league uses a pitching machine to pitch to the batter. The machine is approximately 46 feet away from the batter and pitches 28 MPH in the first half of the season and 32 MPH in the second half.

For girls and boys 6-9 years old. Played on a field with 60 foot base paths. Our league uses a pitching machine to pitch to the batter. The machine is approximately 46 feet away from the batter and pitches 36 MPH in the first half of the season and 42 MPH in the second half.

In this division, players' fielding has gotten to a level where they make some defensive outs in the field.

For girls and boys 7-11 years old. Most players at this level have multiple years of baseball experience but that is not a prerequisite. Played on a field with 60 foot base paths. This is the first level where kids pitch. The pitcher's mound is 46 feet from home plate. Defensive outs are routinely made. Some of the kids at this level can throw pretty hard so it's important that players are comfortable catching a baseball.

For girls and boys Little League aged 10-12 years old. Players at this level have multiple years of baseball experience. Played on a field with 60 foot base paths. Kids pitch from a mound that is 46 feet from home plate. Defensive outs are routinely made.

For girls and boys Little League aged 13-14 years old. Players at this level have multiple years of baseball experience. Played on a full-sized field with 90 foot base paths and a pitching mound that is 60 feet, 6 inches from home plate. Juniors is a great transition between playing on a smaller field and preparing players for high school baseball. For those who don't want to play high school baseball, Juniors is a fun level to extend playing careers 2 more years beyond Majors.

In this division, Los Altos & Los Altos Little League teams play against each other and also against teams from other Little Leagues in our district.
